NaBloPoMo – Cameras – HP C200

For the remainder of our tour,  we will focus on digital cameras.  The HP C200 was my first "real" digital camera.  I did have an Agfa ePhoto Smile which was not even 1 megapixel.  Anyway the HPC200 is a 1 megapixel fixed focal length camera.  It uses compact flash card and has a built in flash.  It was introduced in 1999 and probably discontinued  around 2001.

I brought mine I believe in 2000.  All of my Mexico digital pics were taken with it along with many others.  I still use it when I do not want a larger or expensive camera.  I just recently took it to California.  I have also loaned it out.  Its be to Mexico more times than I!  The paint has worn off in many places,  there is sand in the viewfinder but it keeps working.
