gn Madness at 340kHz

Well been listening to someone transmit "gn" in MCW (morse code on modulated carrier) for at least 10 minutes using AM on 340 kHz.  Yes 340 kHz,  below the AM broadcast band.   Secret message?  Experiment?  Drive me nuts?

Note:  it is all "gn" ,  the other letters is where the software is interpretting noise as letters.  Its slow enough I can follow it.

Seems like someone is exploring some new development in the study of human genome.Maybe the chains are not aligned as they should, or it's meant to be that way.Either way, the "understructural" affliction of the study leads to some new dilemas.

By "someone" I meant any human or alien form of life.

    Definitely extra-dimensional communication…

I found an explanation but it raises more questions

Lurkertype, BTW sorry we couldn't find a time to meet up when I was in SJ.Anyway, 340 kHz is a frequency assigned to non-directional beacons (NDB) for aircraft navigation. They transmit in either 2 or 3 letter call signs repeatedly in morse code. Everything matches up except that none of the stations are assigned "gn". The closest assigned "gn" is in Florida and its supposed to be on 269 kHz. I believe this is not it as it as better in the daytime. Thus I am getting groundwave propagation and thus it must be close. But again there are no license NDB on 340 transmitting "gn" near here or anywhere for that matter.

hmmm… that does raise more questions… some seekrit beacon for seekrit flights in and out? government or smugglers?

  9. Cheech says:

I told ya: "leads to some new dilemas". According to what you've found out, Lurkertype might be right. In my country, it would probably be secret flights from smugglers. In your country, probably government studying aliens 😀

Could be. Definitely not my kittehs as I am the one receiving the signal and I do turn off my transceiver when I am not about
