NaBloPoMo – L&N 194 – ALCO RS-3

Yet another L&N locomotive.  Why L&N?  Well I grew up in Bowling Green which just happened to be on the original L&N line.

The ALCO RS-3 was made by the American Locomotive Company between 1950 and 1956.  It was their road switcher alternative to EMD and GE.

My model is by AHM and made in Yugoslavia.

I love the top pic! The angle makes it look like a life-size locomotive.
