Hand held shots with 50mm lens, 2x doubler and bellows. Yea, about 30 shots to get two.
The whole tree
And with a measuring tape for perspective.
Did it smell nice?
Yes it has a very nice smell but you have to get close. The flowers are very small, smaller than a dime.
lovely! it’s hard to imagine them so small.
As soon as I get unlazy I will post a pic of the whole tree.
I am surprised that they are that tiny!
Nifty thing about macro photography is it removes any sense of scale. I will take another of the whole lime tree.
Updated with new pics
I’ve never seen a key lime tree before. A tiny tree with even tinier flowers!
This one is a dwarf variety which has been stunted unintentionally. The regular variety is not a big tree to be gin with (up 16 feet). But even on the regular sized one, the flowers are tiny.
