A Minor Irritant

Nothing major. One of things I like doing after a paint job is to replace all the outlets, switches and faceplates so that everything looks new. After all the originals are 34 years old. Of course I find out today that so far none of the light switches are grounded. Well least the first 9 switches I replaced were not grounded. It is not major but I have to cut grounding pig tails now for each and every switch.

On the positive side, all the switches and outlets in the kitchen have been replaced and brought up to code*.

* Well I did not use tamper resistant outlets but we now do have GFCI outlets and grounded switches in the in the kitchen.
